History – Chi Rho symbol christening medal
One of our lovely traditional christening medals. The Chi Rho is surely one of the most well-known symbols of Christianity. The Chi Rho symbol, also commonly called the Chi Rho, is composed of the combination of two Greek letters: the X (Chi) and the P (Rho). It is also called the Monogram of Christ because these two letters are the first letters of the word “Christ” (Χριστός).
