History – Clotilde Engagement Ring
Our Clotilde ring refers to Clotilde of Burgundy, or Saint Clotilde. She was a Burgundian princess who became Queen of the Franks by marrying Clovis, whom she helped convert to Christianity. She was canonized; the Orthodox Church celebrates her on June 3 (dies natalis) and the Roman Catholic Church on June 4. Our ring carries the grandeur of this queen.
