A depiction of the Virgin and Child by the incomparable Botticelli in 1450. This medal is particularly cherished for its Florentine style, the softness and tenderness of the scene, and the subtle features of the two faces. The 9-carat medal is an alloy of metals (silver, copper, etc., with 37.5% pure gold). This model is also available in genuine 18-carat gold.
